Its great to finally see someone talk in black and white, without mincing any words around the state of economy on the ground level, and not getting sucked into propoganda

Too many questions. But I shall try and address them.

1. Education in India is in a mess. See my article on the state of education which is hyperlinked in the article. While numberically, Indians grab the best jobs globally, remember that this is the top 0.1% of the Indian population. According to the 2001 Census -- this data has not been updated in the 2011 Census, the total number of graduates (arts, science, engg, medical etc) account for just 3.6% of the population. And 70% of them are unemployable. India is being run by this microscopic sliver of the population.

2. The government should outsource data capture because it is the biggest business worldwise. And there are huge gaps in India's digitisation -- right from land records to agricultural land holdings. That is data India needs to capture. If India decides to outsource it, a chuck of unemployment will disappear.

3. The glovernment is already bloated. For 70 years, we have wanted the government to create jobs in the government sector where productivity is low and accountability even lower. This must stop. It is bleeding the tax payers.
